About the fair
International contemporary art fair. Since 2015, it takes place annually in in Vienna, Austria. It focuses on Central and Eastern European art and presents various galleries - from young and promising ones to the 'blue chips'.

viennacontemporary 2020 is the art fair's sixth edition held in Viennese Marx Halle.
In 2020 it united 66 galleries from 16 countries. For the first time, athere were galleries that could not come personally to the fair among the participants.

World leaders Art Basel and Frieze that canceled their physical fairs in 2020 but opened them online (Online Viewing Rooms), did not provide an online purchase oportunity. Collectors could only agree on the purchase by sending an email to the gallery via the website.
